Determining The Correct Landing Gears For A 2018 Crossroads Cruiser Aire 25rl Fifth Wheel Trailer
Question:
What would be the proper weight for a replacement landing gear? There are many to choose from, our current system popped for a while and now the passenger side wont support any weight. It is now 2.5 inches higher than the drivers side. I am looking for a replacement.

The dry weight I'm seeing for a 2018 CrossRoads Cruiser Aire Fifth Wheel trailer is roughly 8,000lbs so you'd be more than fine with the etrailer Landing Gear Set # RVLG-8000 you were looking at. Landing gears are only supporting a fraction of the weight we the majority of the weight resting on the axles/wheels of the trailer.
Another important aspect to consider is the weld stop measurements so that the installation can be a more direct replacement so you don't have to do any additional welding.
This landing gear has a 15-1/2" distance from the bottom of the upper weld stop to top of the lower weld stop and a 17-1/2" distance from the top of upper weld stop to the bottom of the lower weld stop.
