How Does a 5th Airborne Coupler and Sidewinder Reduce Chucking and Vertical Shock

Question:

Does the sidwinder have back and front movement to prevent chucking and how much does prevent the up and down shock? I currently have the stright sidewinder.

The 5th Airborne and Sidewinder combo, # RP61422, does reduce chucking up to 60 percent and vertical up and down shock by up to 44 percent according to tests performed by the manufacturer. The 5th Airborne part has a shock and airbag inside that reduce the vertical and horizontal movement. And with the Sidewinder you still get the 22 inches of extension.
