Replacement 4-Way Wiring Harness For a Damaged Power Converter On a 2011 Ford Edge
Question:
2011 Ford Edge, I had this installed when I purchased the car new. I noticed lately that my trailer lights are not working properly. Found where they installed the converter, and checked for power going into and coming out of the converter. Turn signals working fine. Power is going into the converter for the tail lights, but not coming out. I am assuming that the converter needs to be replaced.......am I on the right track?

It does sound like the converter went out on your Curt Harness # C56120. Do be sure to check the main power wire and fuse that runs to the battery. If this is damaged it would also cause the same issue but all the lights would fail to operate if the wiring or fuse is damaged.
I recommend replacing it with a Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118515 as I have found in my experience that the Tekonsha's use a better power converter and have less issues down the road than other brands.
