Your Dexter Trailer Brake Drum # 9-44-1 is designed to fit the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # 8-288-3UC1. This drum and hub installs on 9,000-lb to 10,000-lb general-duty Dexter axles made prior to July 2009. The hub assembly includes all the bearings, races, seal and oil cap for the one hub. You will need 2 hubs and 2 drums per axle and some Kodiak Synthetic Bearing Oil # XLPROLUBE to fill the hub.
The Dexter Electric Brake Kit # 23-450-451 contains the brake assemblies for both sides of one axle. They are self adjusting so there is less maintenance needed once they are installed and broke in.
