2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a Bike Rack and Towing

What hitch for my 2022 Grand Cherokee L model? Just for a bike rack but would like to keep the option open for towing in the future.

I like the Draw-Tite # DT42GR over the Curt # C97JR for your 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L because it has an integrated bracket for attaching wiring and then the safety chain loops have slightly easier access to them over the Curt.
I've attached installation videos for each for you to check out. If you don't already have a bike rack I recommend checking out the Kuat Piston Pro X Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # KU98VR because it's easy to use and can accommodate a wide variety of bike frame styles. One of the coolest things about this rack is that it has integrated lights so the bike rack is easily visible. You'll need to also install the T-One # TK39VR wiring kit if you'd like to utilize the lights. The light kit will also be useful for any towing needs in the future and can be attached to the Draw-Tite hitch using the Bracket # 18144.
