4-Way Adapter Solution for Audi Q7 for Towing Boat Trailer with 4-Way

Question:

Hello, We purchased a 2005 Karavan Trailer to haul our 2005 Bayliner Boat. And were trying to tow it with our 2017 Audi Q7. The SUV had the factory installed tow package. We know we need a converter to get the 7 to the 4 flat. But forgive me this is new to us. Does something have to be removed on the 7 connector first? It doesnt appear to have the male pieces that need to go into the adapter.

Since your trailer has a 4-way and tow vehicle has a 7-way connector you could use the part # 30955 which would plug into the round connector you sent in a picture of and would connect then to your 4-way.

Your 4-way is not missing anything either. The fourth pin is actually a female pin so it's totally fine.
