Do you have a Saris Swing Away Hitch Extender for enclosed cargo carriers? For example, Yakima or Thule enclosed cargo carriers. I want to be able to swing the carrier away to access the liftgate of my VW Atlas.

The Swing Away extender # SAR36VR has a weight capacity up to 250 pounds. It also has a hitch tightener system that securely locks hitch into place which secures the base to the vehicle. Using this rack will also cut your tongue weight of your trailer hitch in half. So if it had a 350 pound tongue weight it would be 175 now.
