Trailer Hitch and E-Bike Rack Recommendation for 2019 Kia Kona EV
Question:
I will be carrying 2 Pedego electric bikes with this hitch which weigh about 45 lbs each w/out batteries, 60 with. But my carrier needs a 2 inch hitch. Any help?

For your 2019 Hyundai Kona Electric I enthusiastically recommend the Draw Tite part # DT52GR since itis a class 3 hitch with the 2 inch receiver opening which is generally only available for larger vehicles with higher towing capacities like trucks and SUVs.
Then for a bike rack, your best option is an e-bike rack like with the Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202. This has more than enough weight capacity for your Pedego bikes, uses a frame clamp compatible with their frame style, and also comes with a pull out ramp that makes loading and unloading bikes much easier.
