What would be the best option to store this bike rack when not in use?

For storing a bike rack you have a couple options. You could mount the rack to your wall with the Kuat RackDock part # KU54FR which will get it up and out of the way. Or another option is a cart rack like the Hollywood Racks Rolling Storage Rack part # HRRV-1. This allows you to maneuver it out of the way when not in use. Also gives you a way to easily bring the rack to your tow vehicle as well.
