Recommended Flat Tow Wiring For A 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Im putting together a tow bar system to flat tow a 2022 Jeep Wrangler unlimited. I have part numbers for the bar and the base plate, BX7420, BX1139. Im confused on the wiring harness. The RV that Im towing with has a 7 pin plug on the hitch and a built in trailer brake. Im planning to use the RVi Brake3 system for the Jeep braking. The Jeep will have the HD tow package from the factory. Can you recommend the wiring harness that would work best, and anything else that I may have forgotten?

When it comes to selecting the correct flat tow wiring for your 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited I recommend The Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267.

This system will wire the tow car as a combined system with the RV so the brake and turn signals travel along the same wire. The Flexo-coil cord is resistant to water, oil, chemicals, and has silicone-injected plugs to prevent corrosion. The Brake Light Relay # RM-88400 may be required if used with a supplemental braking system.

For applications that have separate lighting, this kit will cause your brake lights to function as both brake and turn signal lights. A wiring converter # 118158 - sold separately and 2 additional diodes # RM-792 will be needed if you want to retain separate turn and brake signals.
