How To Find Correct Replacement Braking Assemblies and Hubs/Drums for 2008 Keystone Cougar

I have a trailer with Dexter D60-8 axles and I am looking to buy break assemblies and hubs.

In order to find out what replacement braking assemblies and hubs/drum you'll need for a 2008 Keystone Cougar you will want to find the axle tag sticker on the center of the beam. This should give you the type (i.e. EZ-Lube, Nev-R-Lube) and weight capacity (i.e. 5,200 lbs, 6,000 lbs, 7,000 lbs). The Dexter D60-8 indicates a 5,200 - 7,000 lb weight capacity and in which case you can use the Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # 23-458-459. If this is an EZ-Lube Axle then you will likely need the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # 42866UC3-EZ for the 2.125" grease seal or part # 8-219-4UC3-EZ for 2.250" grease seal.
