Question:
i need a brake controller for a a two axle trailer. my vehicle is a 2015 ford expedition. it is factory wired for a controller but isnt enabled and is missing the control module. and i want to go with an after market brake controller. would you have a brake controller that would plug into the factory harness at the dash ?

Expert Reply:
Since your 2015 Ford Expedition has the factory wiring you can use the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR and the Redarc Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness # 331-TPH-007 to plug into the port at the dash. This brake controller will work for your dual axle trailer and will provide a more sleek look that doesn't require a big bulky controller in the cab of your Expedition.
To provide for a more factory appearance you can use the Universal Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controller Control Knob # 331-TPSI-001.
Since your factory brake controller is not enabled this may not apply to you, but often times when a factory brake controller is involved you will have to go to the dealership to have your vehicle flashed in order to use the aftermarket controller.
