Will Inno Locker Watersport Carrier Fit with OEM Crossbars on a 2016 Toyota 4Runner

Question:

I really like this carrier since it can do SUP and surfboards as apposed to the Thule SUP Taxi that only does SUP. Will this mount to a 2016 4RUNNER non trail with factory cross bars? Im concerned that there wont be enough height between the roof and the box that is mounted. If it wont work what are your thoughts on the Malone AirFlow2 crossbars?

Sounds like you've done your research! The Inno Locker Watersport Carrier w/ Crossbar Pads # INA446 is a great option for a carrier and you are correct that pretty much any accessories won't work with the OEM crossbars on your 2016 Toyota 4Runner due to how low they sit to your roof.

If you swap out your OEM crossbars for the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack it will give you the height you need for the Inno carrier. You can use either the 50" Crossbars # MPG215 or the 58" Crossbars # MPG216.
