What Wires from Brake Controller Install Kit ETBC7L Have to Connect with Autowbrake
Question:
For a 2021 Subaru Outback with a dealer installed straight 4 wire connector, looking to connect to a Scamp with autowbrake system… beside the ground and 12 volt wire is there any other wiring installation steps, ? What Are the yellow and blue wires for?

Expert Reply:
When using the brake controller install kit part # ETBC7L to install an Autowbrake brake controller part # 3430001 you only need to connect the black wire of the adapter up to the positive post of the vehicle battery and then ground the additional white wire and you'd be set.
