Soft Top Hardware Needed for a 1962 Jeep Willys

I need to find the hardware for a soft top. Hardware only. I plan on making the canvas top as it is not available anywhere. Help?

If your 1962 Jeep Willys is a CJ-3B model then we do have a full top that you can use.

The Bestop Tigertop, # B5140401, soft top comes with the fabric and all of the hardware needed to install it on your Jeep as long as you have the existing windshield channels and upper door hinges. At this time our supplier does not offer the soft top hardware only to us.

If your Willys is a CJ-3A model we do not offer any complete tops or hardware for it at this time. You may have to have something custom made at a local fabricator.

To determine if you have a CJ-3A model or a CJ-3B model you can take a couple of measurements. The CJ-3A model has a 27 inch tall windshield, vents at bottom of windshield, and the hood height is 6 inches. If you have the CJ-3B model the windshield will be 22-1/2 inches tall, will not have vents at the bottom, and the hood height will be 10 inches. From the photo that you sent in it looks like you have the CJ-3B model.

Your photo also looks like the original windshield channel is there, but I cannot be sure from the angle of the photo.

I attached a drawing showing the measurements you need to install the Tigertop, # B5140401, on a CJ-3B. You can use these measurement locations to verify which Willys model you have.
