Replacement Hardware for Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Head
Question:
Trailer is a 2017 Sonic 190VRB. GVWR 4500lbs. Hitch weight unloaded is 330lbs. Tow vehicle is a 2019 Santa Fe XL. Recently purchased the trailer and hitch used, had to modify hitch height for my vehicle. I broke one of the bolts that secures the head on the shank and washers were missing. Can this kit replace the parts for the Fastway e2 4.5k system or is there a replacement kit for the Fastway e2 4.5k. I also noticed that the top hole on the head is starting to become oval. I am presuming this is typical wear for a 5 year old system and not yet problematic. How long should the e2 system last. Thanks

The correct replacement hardware kit for your Fastway e2 4.5k system is the Replacement Hardware Kit for Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Head # FA92-02-9600.
The Replacement Bolts for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Head # EQ90-02-9400 you asked about is for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems.
There is not a specific lifespan for a weight distribution system. If maintained and the system is properly rated for your towing setup, it can potentially last for a long time. Over time, the holes can wear a little. From your picture it doesn't look like yours has worn significantly.
