Compatibility of Rola 23 By 56 Cargo Carrier on a Dodge Grand Caravan and a 2010 Subaru Forester

Question:

We have a 1 1/4 hitch on both our 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Minivan and our 2010 Forester SUV. Will this cargo carrier fit on both vehicles? What is the distance between the pin hole and the basket?

The Reese Cargo Carrier, item # 63155, will most likely fit both of your vehicles as long as they have Class I or Class II hitches installed. I went out to the warehouse and measured the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the carrier and found that it is 11 inches. You will need to measure the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole on your trailer hitch to the farthest out part of the vehicle or spare tire, if the Subaru has a rear mounted spare tire.
