Wiring Needed For Flat Towing a 2022 Ford F-150 Hybrid With LED Tail Lights

Question:

I have a 2022 F150 Hybrid that I will be flat towing behind my motorhome. The F150 has LED taillights with separate elements for marker lights and brake lights. Can I use the standard diodes and wire the marker lights with one diode and the brake light with the second diode? Or will I be required to use the Smart Diode kit?

You can use standard Diodes # RM-790 on your 2022 Ford F-150 Hybrid with the LED tail lights. I recommend using the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 as your F-150 will also need a Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 to prevent the battery from being drained while towing.
