Clamp-In Installation Option Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent
Question:
Hi, The manufacturer lists two option for installing this vent, screw-in and clamp-in. Does this vent contain the hardware to support the clamp-in install option? If not is it a separate kit or different part number? I need a vent that supports a clamp-in install.

To install the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent, # V2092SP-28 in the clamp-in installation option, you will need the four (4) VB0492 clips that are purchased separately. This is not an item that we carry. Even though the manufacturer has this as an installation option, we highly recommend using the more common and proven method of using screws. We carry the Roof Vent Installation Kit, # 344270KITW that contains sealant, Butyl tape and screws. And we have a very thorough installation video that I have linked below.
