What 7-Way Adapter Harness Fits My 2012 Honda Pilot?
Question:
Hi, I want to buy the Honda Pilot 2012 7 pin plug with wire connector to factory plug in. I already have the flat style trailer wire installed. So I don’t need the whole kit. All I need is the plug and play end, that the trailer will use. Same idea as the plug and play flat style. Do you have one? Thanks!

For the trailer connector to adapt your 4-pin on your 2012 Honda Pilot to a 7-pin plug, that is the Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole # 37185. While this kit does require a bit of splicing at the rear of your vehicle, we do not have a simple plug-and play solution because a 7-pole harness requires some additional grounds. The entire installation is completed at the rear of your vehicle without having to route wiring under the hood. The installation also involves installing the no-drill mounting bracket.
If you plan on having brake controller functionality, you need a complete 7-pin harness with all the components. That is the # ETBC7. This is the full harness that requires you to link it from the battery terminals at the front to the rear of the bumper. For this task, you will use the included circuit breaker to activate the brake controller and wiring.
