Replacement Jack For Older Utility Trailer With A Fulton Jack

Question:

I have a 25 year old utility trailer that has an old integrated fulton trailer jack at least it is stamped Fulton, Mosinee, WI on the jack. I want to add a wheel to the bottom, getting too old to lift it. I could bolt on a wheeled jack, but prefer to use what is there and get something like this: Bulldog Removable, 6 Poly Caster Assembly for 2 Jack Tube. The problem is the 2 tube has a single indentation running the length of the tube, so the wheel would not slip in. The tube does have the mounting hole ready to go. Do you carry wheel assemblies that can accommodate this old style tube?

I took a look at what we got, and it doesn't appear that we stock any of the older Fulton jack parts, however I do have another suggestion.

I know you prefer to use what is already there, however since you're wanting to bolt on a wheel, I recommend upgrading the entire unit.

I suggest going with the Square A-Frame Jack w/ Footplate - Drop Leg - Sidewind # TJDA-5000S which will easily bolt onto your trailer, has a lift capacity of 3,000lbs, and has a total lift of 28-3/4".

If you wanted to stick with the Fulton brand, the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack # FXP15L is another great choice that has a bolt-on design, 1,500lbs lift capacity, and already has the caster attached to the jack.

I have included a review video of # BD1550101344 for you to check out as well.
