I have a 2000 Honda civic coupe and want to carry bikes/kayaks would the sport rack be a good fit for these activities or is there something else you would recommend.

The SportRack # SR1003, # SR1116 that you referenced is a fit for your 2000 Honda Civic Coupe and will be able to either carry two bikes or one kayak providing you are below the 90 lb weight limit capacity.

To order a complete roof rack system you will need 1 set # SR1003 which are the crossbars and clamps and 1 set # SR1116 which are the adapter bars needed for coupe (2-door) vehicles. This rack comes with an integrated lock system.

To carry your bikes on your roof rack, Kuat has the fork mount roof bike rack # TR02.

To carry a kayak on your car, SportRack offers kayak carrier # SR5511. This carrier has a kayak weight limit of 75 lbs. The picture attached shows how your kayak will look when installed on a vehicle.

SportRack has the roof weight capacity for your vehicle at 90 lbs, however, please check your owners manual to verify your roof weight capacity.
