The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 75699, you referenced, is a fit for your 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. When any of the hitches we offer for your vehicle are installed, permanent removal of the OEM tow hook is required. I have linked you to an installation video for this hitch on a 2011 Grand Cherokee.
We also offer the etrailer Ball Mounts for the 2012 Grand-Cherokee by Jeep, part # 989900. This includes 2 ball mounts, one with a 3/4 inch rise, and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise, 2 trailer balls, one is 1-7/8 inch, and one is 2 inches, the pin and clip and a bag.
