Is a Wireless Trailer Brake Controller Best for a 2019 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

Im interested in the wireless brake controller. I keep reading that there are issues with the blue tooth fading in and out and affecting the controller. Is the smart phone hook up simply a hand held means of adjustment as would be on a dash mounted system? I just cant find a review that states that inch this is the best way to go, so to speak. It seems the easiest and makes perfect sense. Is this unit worth the money, really? Please give me your thoughts. Thank you,

I personally love wireless trailer brake controllers due to their ease of install and minimal modifications on vehicles without trailer brake controller provisions.
