Determining Bolt Pattern On Trailer Tire For Spare Tire Carrier # DL22145

Question:

I have a trailer with 5 x 2 5/8inch lug spacing. Fifteen inch wheel. This is center to center measurement. I need a mount very similar to DL22120. Stepping thru all of your mount descriptions Im not having much luck. HELP!

When you have an odd number of lugs you need to measure the distance between the center of one bolt hole to the center of the bolt hole adjacent to it. I have linked you to an FAQ article that shows how to determine the bolt pattern of your wheels. If you did measure the adjacent holes and they are 2-5/8 inches center to center, then your bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2.

If after measuring you determine the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2, then the Offset Trailer Spare Tire Carrier by Dutton-Lainson, part # DL22145 would be a fit. The DL22120 carrier you referenced will only fit wheels that are 9 to 14 inches. The # DL22145 carrier fits 13 to 15 inch wheels.
