Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Adapter Plate for Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch
Question:
I have a 2015 HD2500 crew cab short bed with a Curt gooseneck hitch and was wanting to see what kind of 5th wheel adapters you offer for this. I would like to have something fairly easy to put on and remove because I still use my gooseneck often. Thank You

Since your 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD Crew Cab Short Bed has the Curt Underbed Gooseneck Hitch item # C607-604, you will want to use the Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for Gooseneck Trailer Hitches item # C16210. This adapter will go right into your gooseneck hole and provide you with a set of industry standard rails that have a 20,000 lbs capacity. This adapter is easily removable and won't take up space in your bed when not in use. With these industry standard rails you can attach the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R20 Slider item # C16541. The slider will give you 12" of front to back travel.
Don't forget your lube plate. The Lube Plate for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 10" Diameter item # RP83002 will prevent scratches on your fifth-wheel's skid plate and ease trailer hookup.
To make towing with a 5th wheel easier I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 10' Long item # C56070. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
