Will the Optronics Fleet LED Trailer Tail Lights Fit 6-1/2 inch x 2-5/8 Inch Cutout?
Question:
I have noted the correct cut-out size is 6.6875inch x 2.625. I need to mount the light in a 1/4inch thick piece of metal. Will this thickness be an issue with the grommet fit?

You won't have any issues. The Optronics Fleet LED Trailer Tail Lights w/ Grommets item # TLL12RK has the exact dimensions you will need. The rubber grommet should have no problem fitting inside your cut out. I have linked a diagram below.
