Recommended Towing Package For A 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser
Question:
Hello. I have a 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser without the towing package. Im interested in adding the Draw-Tite hitch, Redarc Tow-Pro Elite, and a combined 4/7 pin socket. Im wondering what other parts I will need to get the job done on my Toyota. I am comfortable with wiring, drilling, etc. but would prefer as plug-and-play as possible just as a time consideration. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

When it comes to installing a trailer hitch on your 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 inch # 75095 is confirmed for your vehicle.
The hitch has an easy, bolt-on installation with no welding required. The hitch has a black powder coat finish that covers the e-coat base for superior rust protection.
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C55365 is an easy plug and play harness that plugs underneath the vehicle near the center. To be able to run The Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR you will also need The Universal 7 Way Wiring Harness # ETBC7. This harness will make your 4 flat into a 7 round and a 4 flat option.
To finish off your towing experience The Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45554 will provide the ball mount, a 2 inch hitch ball and other towing accessories that will help with towing.
I attached a installation video link below.
