WhichTransmission Cooler Fittings for a 2007 GMC Truck

Question:

The fittings om my radiator use a 3/4 in wrench not 5/8 I have a 2007 Silverado 1500 new body style 4.8 liter gas the fittings I received with the cooler do not fit will hh41411 ?

I spoke with my contact at the manufacturer and he said that there are 3 main types of fittings that GM used during that year and that it was more or less random for the GM trucks so you may need any one of the three types.

The three types are the fittings that were used are the fitting supplied with the cooler, a snap in style fitting, item # D13035, and the Derale Radiator Adapter Fittings for GM, item # D13018. I believe the last style of fitting is the fitting your truck will need.

With these fittings you will install the male end into the radiator and the female fitting will be installed on the transmission line fitting.
