How much lower will the LockNLoad be if installed with Landing Pads instead of installing on top of crossbars?

The Yakima LockNLoad Platform Roof Tray - Aluminum - 84" Long x 49" Wide, part # Y05047, can be attached to crossbars or directly to your Yakima towers. It will attach to the tower that is attached to your Yakima Landing Pads. There will be a difference between the heights of these two installation options based on the thickness of your Yakima crossbars. There will also be a height difference between the fixed point option, the raised rail option, or the naked roof option. These differences are vehicle specific. If provided with the year, make, and model of your vehicle I could let you know what installation options are available to you.
