Reese Goose Box For a 2014 Forest River Nitro XLR Toy Hauler 5TH Wheel Camper

Have a Forest River Nitro XLR 2014 LCI frame I believe. Not sure what 20 K Reese goose box I need to purchase for my truck. Spacers needed? What holes should I use when installing. Thanks

Your 2014 Forest River Nitro XLR uses a 1621 pin box bolt pattern. You will need the Reese Goose Box # RP85FR to convert your Nitro to be connected using a gooseneck ball. You will not need any spacers for this, and when installing the pin box the bolt holes you use to mount the Goose Box will be determined by the height of the 5th wheel underbelly from your bedsides. You want to ensure that there is at least 5-6" clearance to reduce the risk of the underbelly hitting your bed rails or tailgate when cresting hills.

Be sure to install the Reese Safety Chain Kit # RP49151 as you are required to have safety chains with all ball connections.
