What you will need in order to tow a 5th wheel trailer with the gooseneck ball on your 2011 Ford F-450 is a 5th wheel hitch that connects directly to the gooseneck ball:

The Recon # DM8550045 is simple to install, as you just slide the base over the gooseneck ball and insert a pin under the ball which secures it. Then you'll attach the head unit, and since these are both lightweight, you can easily install and remove the hitch for a clean, open truck bed when you come back from your trip.
