How Much Does the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System Weigh?
Question:
Im looking at weight distribution hitches and want one with around 60 lbs shipping weight. I saw the fast way e2 450 and it looks like its a lighter weight option as it has the hollow shank. Do you know the weight of it including shank? I just dont like lifting a real heavy shank when getting ready. Plus dont want to add extra tongue weight with a heavy 100 lb hitch.

The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control item # FA92-00-0450 weighs 56-3/4 lbs. This system has a tongue weight capacity of up to 450 lbs. If your trailer has a tongue weight higher than this it will not be an effective system. You will also need the Curt 2" Hitch Ball item # 40038.
According to Fastway/Equal-i-zer, the weight distribution hitch does not add to the tongue weight.
