Hitch Bike Rack To Fit A Prius 2004-2007 And Allow You To Open Rear Hatch In Upright Position

I know this is a very specific question, but do you know how this rack fits on a prius 2004-2007? Im specifically wondering if you can still open the hatchback when the rack is in the upright no bike position. Thanks!

If you have a 2" trailer hitch, the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount, part # KU84FR, will fit your 2004-2007 Toyota Prius. More often than not, a Toyota Prius will have a 1-1/4" trailer. hitch. If that is the case, you will need the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount, part # KU74FR. This option will work for 1-1/4" and 2" trailer hitches. Unfortunately, you will not be able to open your rear hatch when this hitch bike rack is in the upright position without bikes.

I do have an option that might work. The Saris SuperClamp EX Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount, part # SA4025F, is your best option if you want to open your rear hatch when this hitch bike rack is empty and in the upright position.
