Recommended Wire Size to Run From Brake Controller to Actuator On Tractor and Fertilizer Applicator

Question:

I have a trailer with Dexter DX electric over hydraulic actuator, the trailer is Circle K ag fertilizer trailer with single axle brakes that is wired from the actuator to the front of the hitch with 12/6 wiring cord, with RV plug, I need to run wire from the front of the trailer hitch 30ft across fertilizer applicator and then another 20ft to the brake controller inside of the tractor cab, I was trying to figure out what size wire to use from the tractor cab to the hitch of the fertilizer trailer so I was looking for some expert advice on wire size.

In order to run wire from your brake controller to your hydraulic actuator I recommend using the 10 Gauge Primary Wire - Blue - per Foot # 10-1-1. This is your standard wire for a brake controller and will work out over 100' so you won't have an issue using it based on those measurements.
