The Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C16448-204 includes a set of 5th wheel rails and their custom fit underbed mount brackets for a 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty long bed. These will allow you to use the Curt Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Fifth Wheel Rails # 16055 with 3" offset.
If he would prefer to have a clean bed without the rails installed in the bed the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1108 allows for either the standard ball that comes with the kit to be used or we have the 4" Offset Ball # BWGNXA4085. When not needed the standard ball can easily be flipped over and stored for a clean bed with no rails or mounts.
The Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness # 41157 will allow you to tee of the bumper 7-way and install a 7-way inside the bed. This will protect the wiring from damage caused by the routing the trailer connector over the tailgate and to the bumper connection.
