Troubleshooting Brake Controller Wiring of Silverado Not Active
Question:
I plug in adapter #3015 in box under dash and I have no power to brake control. Open hood in 8 inch sq. box in front of driver hook up blue wire to stud, have power to blue wire. No power to black wire under dash to brake control?

This is a fairly common problem and the solution is there's a fuse that is missing in your fuse box. If you check out the attached help article in step E you'll see where to find it. This is the power circuit which will activate the blue wire and your brake controller power wire.
