Can Replacement Plate/Fin Cooler Core D15851 be Used on Older Derale Cooler with Welded Inlet/Outlet
Question:
Thx for your response, however I want to know if I can just replace the coil and not the whole cooler. My existing cooler was a welded in/out connection and not a threaded connection. Thx.

According to my contact at Derale, their replacement plate and fin cooler core, part # D15851, will fit a range of their coolers including both passive and active (fan-powered) Atomic-Cool types. The coolers that can use this replacement core are all Class V models: D15850, D15950, D15450, D15405 and D15451.
My Derale contact advised the only way to identify a replacement core for any cooler is with the original units part number. Unfortunately that will not appear on the cooler itself, only on its original packaging.
