To be able to tow the Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer # MPG464-LB with your 2018 Toyota 4Runner, you're just going to need a ball mount like the Curt Fusion Ball Mount for 2" Hitches # C45134 with a 2" hitch ball.
To choose a correct ball mount will dictate on the measurement from the ground to the top of the trailer receiver, if it is less that 18" you'll need a ball mount with rise, however, if it's more than 18", you'll need a ball mount with drop.
For example, if you measured 20" to the top of your vehicle's trailer hitch receiver, you'd need a ball mount with a drop of 2". Conversely, if you measured 16" to the top of your vehicle's trailer hitch receiver, you'd need a ball mount with 2" of rise.
If you also need trailer wiring, you can use the Hopkins Tail Light Converter Kit with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # HM48925.
I have included a FAQ that goes into a bit more detail on how you can find the rise/drop for your trailer.
