How to Wire In LED Reflectors and Lights on a 2012 Honda CR-V Using a Trailer Wiring Harness
Question:
Will this harness work for these? Each light has three wires: ground, running, brake. Whats the converter box for?

The T-one wiring harness # 118561 is designed to fit a 2012 Honda CR-V and provide a 4-Way flat to tow a trailer. The converter takes the multiple signals used by the vehicle, converts them and on the output sides provides the proper signals used by trailers.
The output on the 4-Way is ground, running lights, left turn and brake lights, and right turn and brake lights. Trailers used combined brake and turn signals, not combined running light and turn signals. If you connect the LED bumper reflectors and lights they would light up with the running lights and brake lights, but will also blink with the turn signals.
In order to prevent that from happening you would have to have another converter installed after the output on the 4-Way side of the wiring harness. The converter is # 118158. The left turn/brake light wire and the right turn/brake light wire would connect to the yellow and green wires respectively on the converter. The running light wire from the 4-Way would bypass the converter. White would get grounded to the vehicle frame.
On the output side the red wire would have to be split and run to the brake wires to each of the lights you mentioned. The yellow and green on the output side would not be used and just taped up and stowed out of the way. And the running light wire would be split also and run to the appropriate wire on each of your lights.
