Trailer Hitch Receiver and Wiring Harness For a 2022 Mazda CX-5 Carrying a Kuat NV Bike Rack
Question:
Can you tell me what receiver I need for my 2022 Mazda CX-5 to use my Kuat NV 2 bike rack? I have the model with the 2" hitch.

I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98902 for your 2022 Mazda CX-5. Our receiver has a matte black powder coat finish that matches well with the trim on your Mazda to give you a clean factory look. The receiver is rated for a maximum tongue weight of 600lbs which is plenty for your Kuat NV 2.0 Base Bike Rack # BA22B.
I do recommend installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118746 when you install the receiver. This will allow you to tow most small trailers with a 4-way flat wiring connection, and will also allow for Auxiliary Lights # C53201. The auxiliary lights ensure that the drivers on the road behind you have a set of lights they can clearly see, since your bikes will likely impair a drivers view of your tail lights.
