Troubleshooting Blue Screen On Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera After Rain Storm

After a bad rain storm my camera is only showing a blue screen check all wires cant find problem

I have some troubleshooting advice for you:

**Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors, 2 oz. # 11755.
*Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System # HM50002.

The Blue screen is letting you know that the reciprocity from camera to monitor has broken down. Since you had a large amount of rain I am inclined to think that moisture has gotten into one of the connections and is causing a short.

I recommend to unplug the connection and using some canned air or an air compressor to blow out the connections and let them dry out. Next using some Dielectric grease to protect your connections from moisture.

If this does not help reply back and I will continue the process of troubleshooting.
