4-Speed Roof Vent Recommendation And Install Instructions For A 2016 Jayco Jay Feather TT

My Jayco Jay Feather Travel Trailer has a roof vent but no fan. I would like to install one with a fan 4 speed likely. Can this be done and how should the wiring be done? I am looking at the Maxxair with 12v fan model 4301K. Thank you

For your 2016 Jayco Jay Feather Travel Trailer, you can absolutely use the MaxxFan Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00A04301K you mention.

This fan has a 4 speed fan, as well as flush mounted keypad that allows you to control the fan speed.

To install this fan you'll just need to connect the white wire to a good ground, and the black wire, which is the power wire to a power source. Next, insert the MaxxFan into the opening in the roof and mount the flange to the roof.

To finish, trim the garnish as needed to fit the thickness of your roof and install it.

Additionally, you're going to also need the Roof Vent Installation Kit # 344270KITW which will allow you to properly mount your RV roof vent and create a waterproof seal.
