Best Bike Rack for 2 e-Bikes on Flat Towed Vehicle
Question:
Im trying to decide between a Yakima Y36FR, Y02443 and a Thule TH83JV. I have 2 Lectric XP 2.0s and plan to mount this on the back of my 2022 GMC Canyon AT4 - flat towed behind my RV. The bikes are 64 pounds but can be lightened by 7 pounds by removing the batteries. One is a step through model. They both have 3 tires. Can you give me your thoughts, please?

All 3 bike racks are excellent choices but I have to go with the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack # Y36FR hands down for your situation simply because your Lectric XP 2.0 bikes should have fenders on the front tires which disqualifies the Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH83JV and Yakima HoldUp # Y02443 as they use clamps that secure over the front tire where the fender will be located. The OnRamp uses a clamp system that wraps around the frame of the bike so fenders aren't an issue.
Some extra perks of the OnRamp are it weighing the least (about 40 lbs) and you get the ramp with it so it's much easier to load your heavy bikes.
