To make it easy, you should get a Deluxe Hydraulic Line Kit # 9579-2. This kit was designed for tandem axle trailers with drum brakes like yours and will work with your Dexter Electric Over Hydraulic Brake Actuator # K71-650.
All the lines in this kit are 3/16 inch.
The Dexter Electric Over Hydraulic Brake Actuator, # K71-651, is not compatible with the Ford integrated trailer brake controllers. The adapters made for other systems are not designed to be used with the Dexter EOH systems. There are 2 options to solve this problem.
The easiest and least expensive is to install an aftermarket controller that is compatible with electric over hydraulic brakes like the P2 # 90885. There are tow package wires under the dash of the truck that are used to wire in an aftermarket controller. We also have an FAQ that covers what you will need to do for this installation.
The other option is to use a different EOH actuator and adapter. You could use the HydraStar Actuator, # HBA16, and adapter # HBA-CAM. This is the more expensive route to take so if cost is an issue then going with an aftermarket controller is the way to go.
