Are the Air Lift load Lifter 5000 Air Bags Compatible with In-Bed Hitch on 2006 Ford F-350
Question:
Can this kit be installed and then later on can i install a 5th wheel hitch? Also do the factory overload springs have to be removed to install a air helper spring kit?

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57212 will not work with gooseneck or 5th wheel hitches unless you use the Reese universal rail kit on your 2006 Ford F-350. This will not work with custom rail kits. You will also be able to leave your factory overload springs.
That being said, I would recommend the Firestone air bags over the Air Lift. These will have a more reliable and durable construction. They are also compatible with an in-bed hitch so you won't be restricted to the Reese universal rail kit. The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs can be used for vehicles with or without factory top overload springs. Since you have the 4WD model you would need the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2400.
I would also recommend adding an air compressor like the Firestone Air Command II # F2219. This will allow you to adjust and fill your air bags no matter where you are from the cab of your truck. It is a dual path system so the air bags can be adjusted together or individually.
I have attached some review and installation videos for your reference.
