Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C96NR installs behind the rear bumper and hitch cover on your 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. When the hitch bumper cover is in place the hitch will be completely hidden. You will have to remove the panel to use the hitch.

If you plan on doing some towing you will also need wiring. I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK39VR. This will plug into existing wiring so no cutting or splicing is required. Once installed you will have a 4-way connection to power your trailer's signal lights.

If you need a ball mount, check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
