Troubleshooting 2017 Hyundai Tucson Running Lights Flicker After Adding LED Bumper Lights

Question:

Jon G, This aftermarket light for my 2017 has THREE power wires and a ground. Signal, brake and running light. Will the kit you mentioned, D134ZR handle all three wires? Or do I need to only put it in the running light circuit? I’m more than ready to purchase the product that will stop the running light fro hyper flashing but at the same time I don’t want to overdrive the other functions, brake, signal and ruin the LED fixture. If you send me the diagram of the hook up it will take away all my concerns. Thank You

For your application I'd put a load resistor on the LED light you installed since that is what seems to have caused the issue. When you add LED lights to a system that wasn't built for them it tends to do weird things. If you install the Load Resistor Kit # DI34ZR on the light fixture you just installed then this should fix the issue.

Each load resistor from the Kit # DI34ZR will connect to 1 function so you might need 2 of this kit to make sure everything it working correctly. Since this is only happening on 1 function though you might be able to get away with just 1 kit. Attached is the wiring diagram you were asking about.
