Industry Standard Custom Rail Kit and Compatible Air Bags on a 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500

I will be purchasing the BandW patriot 18k with the install kit bwrvk2506 for my 2015 Chevy 2500 4x4. My question is about installing the air lift 5000 air bag kit AL57338 in addition to the BandW hardware. Will everything for as it should or will modifications need to be made for them to work together.

Let me start out by confirming that the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches item # BWRVK2506 is a confirmed fit for your 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500. This rail kit will work great with both the 18K B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # BWRVK3255 and the Patriot Slider item # BWRVK3270. I have a better solution for an air bag set up for you. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs item # AL57338 will work with your Silverado and the B&W rail kit but you're going to have to drill holes in both your truck and the rail kit to get the two separate components to fit. This will require a lot of extra effort and void any warranty you get with you rail kit. Instead of doing this I recommend upgrading to the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Springs w/ Internal Bumpers item # AL88338. This system also has a 5,000 lbs capacity. These air bags have internal bumpers, so you get the adjustable load support of air springs and the comfort and reliability of jounce springs. Jounces also work as a fail-safe if air springs lose pressure.

This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
