Does Install of Stealth Hitch on 2022 BMW 330i Void Warranty

Question:

Hi etrailer, question, I am considering installing a Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver - Custom Fit - 2inch Item # SH34VR on my 2022 BMW 330i. Heres my concern, since the car is brand new, still under the BMW warranty, if after the install there are any problems associated with the installation, would etrailer assume the responsibility of addressing the issues? ... What assurances from etrailer will I have as a customer?

The warranty of your 2022 BMW 330i will not be voided as a result of installing the Stealth Hitch # SH34VR because of the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act (P.L. 93-637). The Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act in short states that manufactures cannot void the entire warranty of a vehicle simply because they installed an aftermarket component. This act states, in part, that unless the installation and the part caused a problem then the warranty cannot be voided. I do however recommend you look this up for yourself though.
